The Vega 50 analog FXS and FXO gateways are designed to connect analog phone systems to IP networks. The Vega 50 analog phone-facing FXS connects standard analog handsets to an IP network, typically a corporate network, while the Vega 50 network-facing FXO connects the IP network to a telephone line or analog PBX.
The following Vega 50 analog gateways are available:
> 8 FXS + 2 FXO
> 10 FXO
FXO ports can be specified as 600R, 900R or CTR-21.
Open, Non-Proprietary Interfaces
All VegaStream gateways can support SIP, H.323 and T.38 fax. The gateway can be configured for different country requirements, such as tones and line impedance. The Vega 50 analog gateway has proven interoperability with a wide range of existing telecommunications and VoIP equipment.
Lifeline PSTN Backup
The Vega 50 FXS gateway provides 8 FXS + 2 FXO lines. The two FXO lines provide a hard-wired bypass to allow PSTN calls under power failure conditions.
